Challenge
IVEO needed to measure water height and flow rate inside municipal manholes using equipment originally designed to be fixed, powered and permanently installed. The system had to become portable, battery-powered and capable of transmitting data wirelessly — all while surviving harsh underground conditions.
Solution
We adapted the existing RS485 sensors and connected them to a Meteryx node, which manages power, reads the probes and transmits the data through our LoRaWAN sensor + gateway. To ensure long battery life, we engineered a power-cycling strategy that shuts the sensors down between readings, drastically reducing consumption.

Challenge
A client's electronic board was failing at high temperatures (85–90 °C). Battery consumption spiked to near-short-circuit levels, causing devices to die in less than a week instead of the expected 3–6 months.
Solution
We performed a full evaluation of the board's electrical behavior under thermal stress, identified the failure points, and redesigned the power architecture and firmware to stabilize consumption. The board was then validated through high-temperature endurance testing.

Challenge
A heat pump manufacturer needed a complete connected solution: hardware, firmware, cloud service and mobile app. Their goal was to let end-users control their heat pump remotely and allow technicians to diagnose issues before dispatching service personnel.
Solution
We designed the control board, developed the embedded firmware, built the web service and delivered a mobile application for both users and technicians. The system collects performance data, detects anomalies and provides actionable insights for service teams.

Challenge
The manufacturer wanted to push efficiency even further by dynamically controlling the circulating pump's flow rate — maximizing COP during high-efficiency periods and minimizing thermal losses during low-efficiency ones.
Solution
We developed a control strategy and firmware module that adjusts pump flow based on environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, time of day). The system slows the flow at night to reduce losses and increases it during optimal conditions to boost performance.
